Artist's Comments

This happened quite by accident and I'm really quite pleased with it. I covered a small 8x8 gessobord with gel, just to get some background texture and as I was adding some tint I saw a horse emerge so...I went with it. Didn't want to mess around too much with it so I could keep it fresh. PLEASE FULL VIEW

Wonderful expression but what i always have with your paintings is that i think you use the gel to much. Use it more in balance so that it works more for your paintings. Its more a opinion than criticism.

This is really beautiful... quite stunning... with all the paintings of horses I love that this is just different :)

So many unexpected things in this painting! I like how the horse looks back at the tail as if to say, "Oh yah! That totally was painted behind me". There is a lot of action in this image.

This is wonderful, and as I was reading "Aventura" manga a couple of days before, Sylph was interpreted as a horse in the story, and I saw this=D...um can I ask? what is the gel? I don't know about acrylic that much but I've been using it, I think for 3 years (ashamed), so how do you apply it? do you wait for it to dry? I really want to know:w00t: and thanks for showing us another great work.

It looks like a horse from this old irish fairy tales...mystical...unreachable...never near enough to catch it...I love it!
