Crowsnest

Just got back from a recent trip to Crowsnest Pass( south-west Alberta ,close to the BC and Montana borders) with a group of artists for some plein-air painting. This is 2ftx2ft,and was totally painted on location. Rather large for plein-air and I had some issues with the wind. My canvas blew over three times! I guess that's what plei-air is all about. The fresh air and all the elements...it was exhilarating!
